Job summary

USIC is seeking fieldLocator professionals to locate underground utilities across our service areas. You will operate company vehicles, perform outdoor fieldwork, and ensure precise mark-outs for excavators and homeowners.

The role requires safety awareness, ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, and a strong commitment to quality and public safety. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within USIC.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and basic tools.
• Able to pass drug screen; safety-sensitive role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Mark locations and document each locate with photos and tickets.
