Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoors-oriented individuals for full-time utility locator roles. You will locate and mark underground utilities such as telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer, using company-provided vehicles and gear.

The role requires working outdoors in various conditions, with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. Training is 100% paid, with career advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark utilities.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities in designated areas and mark locations.
• Complete necessary documentation and photograph each locate.
