Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoorsy individuals for full-time locator roles. You’ll work in the field with company vehicles, locating underground utilities and ensuring safety and accuracy at each site.

We offer paid training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a safety-forward environment. No prior locating experience is required, but welcomed.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to distinguish colors used to identify wiring.
• Good communication with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Mark locations accurately, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
