Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a field locator to precisely locate underground utilities and mark sites for construction and excavation projects. You will work independently in the field using a company vehicle and dedicated equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include locating utilities, documenting each locate, and photographing findings. The role requires flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts; prior locating experience is not required but

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficient with technology and field devices.
• Able to pass a drug screen and maintain a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Thoroughly search, mark locations, document procedures, and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts, including nights.
