Job summary

USIC is seeking diligent individuals to join our field team as locator professionals. You will locate underground utilities, mark precise locations, and document each find while working in outdoor environments across various sites.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work overtime, some weekends, and on-call shifts, with company-provided vehicle and safety training. No prior locating experience is required, but applicants with relevant outdoor work backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations and complete required documentation.
• Photograph each locate and maintain required records.
