Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking motivated people to join our team as underground utility locators. You will work in the field, locate a variety of utilities, and record precise marks with company-provided equipment.

No prior locating experience is required, but experienced locators are encouraged to apply; full training and advancement opportunities are provided in a safety-first environment. The role includes a company vehicle, fuel card, and multiple benefits.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions
• Proficiency with technology
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints
• Strong communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities (telecom, electric, gas, water, sewer) safely and efficiently
• Mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call duties as needed
