Job summary

USIC is seeking a locator in Florence, KY for full-time, outdoor field work locating underground utilities. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with up to $30.00 per hour for experienced locators. You will work in all weather, with potential overtime and on-call shifts. Training is provided and a company vehicle is provided.

The role requires outdoor stamina, ability to read tickets and maps, and a valid driver’s license. Growth opportunities and benefits are listed in our program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field tools.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Document locations and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime and on-call shifts.
• Operate company-provided vehicle and use ticket systems.
