Job summary

USIC is seeking field Locator professionals for daytime, full-time roles across our service areas. You’ll locate underground utilities and ensure accurate markings for excavators and property owners, using company systems for documentation and photo proof.

No prior locating experience is required, but problem solvers who value safety and reliability will thrive. Training is provided, with advancement opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and basic equipment.
• Able to pass a drug screen due to safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately, safely and efficiently.
• Search designated areas, mark locations, document findings and photograph locates.
