Job summary

USIC is seeking outdoor locators to locate underground utilities in designated areas, using company-provided vehicles and equipment. You will complete documentation, photograph each locate, and work daytime, full-time with overtime and on-call shifts as needed.

No prior locating experience is required, but we offer a comprehensive paid training program and opportunities for advancement. Benefits include insurance options, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and a formal career-path program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass a drug screen due to safety-sensitive role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas; mark locations and document findings.
• Photograph each locate and complete all required paperwork and maps.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
