Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure in Kentucky is hiring for field crew members to assist in construction and maintenance of underground utility networks in residential and commercial areas.

As part of a crew, you will operate with jackhammers and rotary drills, perform hand digging, and help crew leaders with coordination and safety. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and pass background checks; CDL A is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Experience working with underground utilities desired.
• CDL A is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
