Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a hardworking crew member to support underground utility construction and maintenance across residential and commercial sites. You will assist the crew leader and operators, using jackhammers and rotary drills, and help keep worksites safe and prepared.

The role requires the ability to perform heavy manual labor, lift up to 80 lbs, and work in varying conditions. CDL A is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial for site communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or desired.
• Experience with underground utilities preferred.
• CDL A license is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
