Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is hiring for a field crew member to support underground utility construction and maintenance in residential and commercial areas. You will work with a crew to perform tasks safely and efficiently under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL A, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and willingness to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• CDL A is required for this position.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction, reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck.
