Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is looking for crew members to support underground utilities work in residential and commercial areas. You will assist the crew with construction, maintenance, and reconstruction tasks, using a range of tools and equipment.

A willingness to learn and safety-focused mindset are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; CDL A is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a shift.
• Experience with underground utilities is desirable.
• CDL A is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction, reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Operate with equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners, and other tools.
• Signal equipment operators to align and move machinery and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump trucks.
• Prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
