Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an Underground Energy Laborer to support Equipment Operators and Foremen on underground utility projects. This is a physically demanding, outdoors role that operates in active construction environments.

Responsibilities include preparing sites, staging materials, assisting with trenching, conduit installation, and following dig-safe procedures. A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL is preferred. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Construction/underground utility or general labor experience preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Overtime, weekend work, and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare jobsites, stage materials, set barricades, and assist with traffic control.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Assist with trenching, excavation, backfilling, compaction, and jobsite restoration.
• Help install conduit, pipe, cable, vaults, and other underground utility components.
• Spot Equipment Operators and follow dig-safe procedures around existing utilities.
• Perform hand digging and potholing as needed.
• Operate small tools and equipment such as tampers, jackhammers, and hand tools.
• Clean and maintain jobsites, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, company, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Work with the crew to meet daily production goals.
