Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment for installing underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You’ll determine bore paths, locate utilities, and maintain equipment in all weather conditions.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule development, site setup and cleaning, with responsibilities including potholing to verify utilities and operating mud mixing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record (not provisional).
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
