Job summary

Haile Gold Mine, located in South Carolina, USA, is seeking an experienced underground project leader to establish and manage development and infrastructure activities for the Ledbetter Underground (LUG) Project. You will coordinate daily contractor activities with LUG Management across development, execution, and capital works.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of underground mining experience, proficiency with DESWIK.sched and MS Project, and a background in civil or mining construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• 7–10 years of underground experience
• Experience in mine planning using DESWIK.sched or other scheduling software
• Experience in scheduling with Microsoft Projects
• Civil or mining construction experience
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office and industry software
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between contractors and LUG management across development and execution projects on site
• Support project execution to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
• Review drawings and specifications and ensure document control standards
• Assist with updated forecasts and budgets with senior management
• Collaborate with Cost Controller and Purchasing to ensure timely reporting
• Promote safety and environmental responsibility and enforce policies
