OceanaGold's Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina seeks a seasoned Technical Services planning leader to oversee pit planning and drill & blast design in an open-pit mining environment. You will guide daily, weekly, and rolling 3‑month mine plans, maintain the design database, and collaborate with operations to meet monthly targets while maximizing ore recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from an accredited university.
• 5 years minimum, 8+ years preferred mining experience.
• At least 5 years of exposure to the gold mining industry in an open pit environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to enable zero harm to people and environment.
• Produce and maintain precise daily, weekly, and rolling three-month mine plans.
• Maintain the design database and standardize design areas and signoff processes.
• Collaborate with mine operations to meet monthly plan requirements.
• Improve mining software usage and explore technical solutions.
