Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a UGE Lineman to perform diverse tasks in the construction and maintenance of underground power lines from plant to meter base and equipment for distribution of electricity. You will work with the Line team and collaborate with personnel from multiple departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of experience, and a valid driver's license, with OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: OSHA 10 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to jobsite and maintain truck stock.
• Provide services for construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.
• Perform switching to isolate and insulate underground lines and splice/terminate accordingly.
• Set and work on underground transformers and devices.
• Phase and tag underground equipment and manage connections/disconnections.
• Keep records and adapt to changes in reports and information.
