Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking a UGE Lineman to perform a range of tasks from plant/station to meter base, supporting the Line team and coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires navigating underground power distribution installation and maintenance, following safety protocols, and handling equipment with care in varying weather conditions. A strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of field experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to jobsite and maintain truck stock.
• Support construction, operation and maintenance of electrical distribution system.
• Perform switching to isolate and insulate underground lines safely.
• Set and work on underground transformers and devices.
• Phase and mark/tag underground equipment.
