Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyperson Lineperson to join our Underground Distribution Construction Department. The role involves operating excavation and lifting equipment, installing and maintaining underground power lines, and addressing outage-related service calls.

You will work on-site in varied weather and follow regional safety policies to ensure safe, efficient completion of assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely enter and exit excavations.
• Must be able to terminate underground primary and secondary cables.
• Must be able to terminate pad-mounted transformers, secondary pedestals, and meter boxes.
• Must follow directions, work safely and productively.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for digging, backfilling, lifting and other tasks.
• Assist with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of underground power lines.
• Assist with service calls for power outages and electrical problems.
• Communicate work details to property owners and coordinate with customers.
