Job summary

A leading mining company in Delta Junction, Alaska, is seeking an experienced Underground Miner - Mucker Operator to operate underground equipment and perform mining tasks in a challenging environment. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience operating loaders/muckers, strong safety comprehension, and flexibility to work in extreme conditions. Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience operating underground loaders/muckers required.
• Must have good comprehension of safety procedures and MSHA requirements.
• Must pass post-offer physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate underground equipment and perform various mining tasks.
• Conduct post-blast inspections and maintain the condition of all roads underground.
• Assist with fault-finding and preventative maintenance.

Skills

Experience in underground hard rock mining techniques

Operating underground loaders/muckers

Basic mechanical knowledge

Good communication skills

Basic computer literacy
