Job summary

Northern Star Mining Services Pty Ltd. seeks an Underground Miner - Jumbo Operator to safely operate underground equipment and perform diverse mining duties at a Delta Junction, AK site.

The role requires leading crews, following MSHA guidelines, and maintaining high safety standards. The position offers full-time hours with a 28 days on/28 days off rotation at a remote camp, including long shifts and harsh environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and training new team members.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Awareness of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Act & Regulations.
• Be able to pass a background check and post offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks including truck driving, nipper, bogging and jumbo drilling.
• Carry out pre-start checks and report hazards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Lead and mentor junior crew members.
• Communicate effectively with two-way radio.
