Job summary

Northern Star Pogo Mine is seeking an experienced Underground Miner – Mucker Operator for a challenging role at our remote Alaska site. The position involves operating underground equipment and performing various mining tasks efficiently. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years operating underground loaders/muckers.
• Good comprehension of safe operating procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to provide leadership and training to new team members.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate underground equipment for various mining tasks.
• Conduct post-blast inspections and wash down all headings.
• Perform production mucking, including tele-remote, from stopes to muck bay.

Skills

Experience in underground hard-rock mining techniques

Operating underground loaders/muckers

Basic mechanical knowledge

Good communication skills (English)

Basic computer literacy
