Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited's Pogo operation in Alaska seeks an Underground Miner - Agi Operator on a rotating 3 weeks on/3 weeks off schedule. You will safely operate underground equipment and perform mining tasks including Haul Truck, Nipper, Mucking, and Rockpick, with emphasis on safety and productivity.

The role requires underground shotcrete experience, basic mechanical knowledge, strong English communication, and adherence to MSHA rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground Shotcrete Operations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures.
• Ability to lead and train new team members (not essential).
• Must understand safe operating procedures and MSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform duties such as Haul Truck, Nipper, Mucking, Powder Crew & Rockpick.
• Minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe condition.
• Follow safety policies and incident reporting.
