Job summary

Sandvik Mining seeks a Regulatory Engineer to support design, development, and regulatory compliance for underground mining equipment at the Brier Hill, PA site. You will develop drawings and specifications, review safety and manufacturing feasibility, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic teams.

The role involves MSHA regulatory leadership, field testing, and providing technical guidance to customers, service networks, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of underground mining equipment and MSHA/Regulatory practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and review designs and drawings (2D/3D CAD).
• Provide field and factory support for MSHA underground coal applications.
• Prepare test plans and supervise field/shop testing of new products and components.
• Assist in training, documentation, and customer-facing technical support.
