Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Brier Hill, PA seeks a Regulatory Engineer to support the design and development of underground mechanical cutting machines. Develop drawings and specifications for Sandvik mining equipment using engineering analysis and CAD.

Review, document, and approve designs as part of a cross-functional team. The role focuses on MSHA underground coal regulation compliance, safety assessments, and providing training to service networks and end users.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining; equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in related field.
• Underground mining knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and specifications for Sandvik mining equipment using CAD.
• Support as part of a team to detail, document and approve designs.
• Review and analyze engineering specifications for functionality, manufacturability and safety.
• Provide technical training and support to Sandvik service network and field personnel.
