Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Brier Hill, PA seeks a Regulatory Engineer to support design and development of underground mechanical cutting machines. You will develop drawings and specifications using CAD, and review designs for safety and manufacturability.

The role requires MSHA regulatory expertise, travel to sites, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A PE license and willingness to work underground are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or mining, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience.
• Knowledgeable aspects of underground mining.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to support design of Sandvik underground cutting machines.
• Develop drawings and specifications using CAD.
• Review designs for safety, manufacturability and performance.
• Coordinate with MSHA and customer teams as needed.
• Travel and work underground as required.
