Job summary

Sandvik Mining seeks a Regulatory Engineer to lead compliance with MSHA underground coal regulations and related state/local requirements. Based in Brier Hill, PA, you will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic teams to ensure safe operation of mining equipment.

You will support field testing, training, and the Sandvik service network, assist in data analysis, and help establish regulatory-approved designs and procedures for USA MSHA underground applications.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in mining/underground environments
• Knowledge of underground mining regulations incl. MSHA coal rules

Responsibilities

• Act as expert on MSHA underground coal regulations (30 CFR) and state/local regs.
• Provide technical training and support to Sandvik service network on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with factory teams for testing, field trials, and product updates.
• Develop test plans for field/shop testing of new products/designs.
