Komatsu seeks a Field Technician - Underground Mining to support customers operating hard rock underground equipment across assigned territories. The role emphasizes maintenance, repairs, and strong troubleshooting in challenging underground conditions.

The candidate should have solid mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills with mining or heavy equipment experience. Willingness to travel and work above and below ground is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair various Komatsu equipment with a main focus on hard rock underground.
• Timely, effective repairs of machine components in the Field.
• Complete assigned jobs and task to meet flat rate times and re-do metric.
• Work safely and follow all KEC/Customer safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
