Job summary

Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine is seeking an experienced Mine Engineering Superintendent to lead the technical services for underground planning, design, ventilation, drill and blast, surveying, and reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Minimum of 10 years underground mining experience with technical services, mine planning and operational support.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience supervising and developing teams.
• Advanced working knowledge of Deswik mine design and scheduling software is required.
• Strong underground ventilation experience including planning, modeling, monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Experience integrating short-, medium-, long-range and life-of-mine plans in underground mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a capable engineering and surveying team focused on safety and technical excellence.
• Oversee short-, medium-, and long-range mine planning to support production readiness and life-of-mine strategy.
• Collaborate across departments to align technical work with site priorities and business objectives.
• Direct and oversee development sequencing and infrastructure planning for restart scenarios.
• Provide sound technical guidance to support mine restart planning and capital planning.
