Job summary

OceanaGold Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina invites applications for an Underground Maintenance Planner Specialist to oversee preventative maintenance planning and scheduling of underground mobile and fixed assets.

In this role you will coordinate with maintenance supervisors, reliability engineers, supply chain and vendors to optimize resources, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safe, compliant operations in a premier mining environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineer or trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years as a maintenance planner for mobile/ fixed equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Maintenance ERP systems (ProntoXi, SAP, JD Edwards, Maximo).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work to optimize resources and safety.
• Track KPIs and report performance; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with reliability engineers on asset management.
• Lead and train maintenance staff.
• Work with Supply Department and Vendors to manage inventory.
• Integrate maintenance schedule with mine plan.
• Perform field audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Monitor work order status and documentation.
