Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Fixed Maintenance Planner II at Leeville operations to support maintenance scheduling, prioritization, and KPI reporting. The role collaborates with operations and maintenance teams, handling budgeting, purchasing, and forecasting to keep production on track in an underground setting.

The ideal candidate has underground mining maintenance planning experience, proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, and a proven safe work record, ready to contribute

Qualifications

• One year maintenance planning experience in underground mining preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred.
• Validated safe work record required.
• Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required.
• Experience with maintenance budgeting in Xeras preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduling of weekly maintenance plans for UG and Major Repair shop.
• Ensure accurate job packets and schedules are maintained and distributed.
• Run and report on maintenance KPI’s.
• Assist other planners in closing and scanning work orders.
• Communicate well with both operations and maintenance personnel.
• Improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems.
• Write purchase requisitions for unavailable material.
• Track progress of ordered material and schedule work once parts arrive.
• Assist the general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes in the preventative maintenance schedule necessitated by production/maintenance requirements.
• Prepare Fixed Maintenance forecasts and budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
