Job summary

Barrick Gold Corporation's Nevada Gold Mines division seeks an Underground Fixed Maintenance Planner II for the Leeville operations in Carlin, NV. You will assist supervisors with job priority and availability, adjusting the preventative maintenance schedule to meet production needs.

You will schedule weekly UG maintenance, maintain accurate packets, run KPIs, and coordinate with shop personnel. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, budgeting, and efficient use of planning systems.

Qualifications

• One (1) year maintenance planning experience in an underground mining environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Validated safe work record required.
• Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required.
• Experience with maintenance budgeting in Xeras.

Responsibilities

• Schedule weekly maintenance plans for underground and major repair shop.
• Ensure accurate job packets and schedules are maintained and distributed.
• Run and report on maintenance KPIs.
• Assist other planners in closing and scanning work orders.
• Communicate well with operations and maintenance personnel.
• Improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems.
• Write purchase requisitions for unavailable material.
• Track progress of ordered material and schedule work when parts arrive.
• Assist supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes to maintenance schedules.
• Prepare Fixed Maintenance forecasts and budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
