Job summary

Pike Corporation seeks a Class C Lineman Underground to safely construct and repair underground distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various sites, and report to the Foreman. Emphasis on safety and readiness for outages, storms, and emergencies.

Requirements include two years of underground line experience and a valid CDL Class A. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work outside normal hours, including weekends and on-call rotations, is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair underground distribution systems.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
• Learn switching and tagging procedures, grounding and voltage switching under supervision.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to different job sites as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.
