Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an experienced Class C Lineman Underground to construct and repair underground distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to out-of-state job sites as needed, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include installing underground facilities, troubleshooting faults, and learning switching procedures. Must have CDL, be able to lift 50 pounds, and be willing to work outside standard hours and outages.

Qualifications

• Two years of underground line experience.
• Willing to travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations.
• Able to work outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair underground distribution systems.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors.
• Troubleshoot and fault locate on primary and secondary systems.
• Learn switching and tagging procedures and grounding.
• Operate excavation equipment and maintain it.
• Work outdoors in varied environmental conditions.
