Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman Underground to support construction, maintenance and repair of underground electrical distribution systems. The role requires working at various locations, with possible travel to other states based on customer demands.

Responsibilities include safe operation, wiring, pole setting, and assisting with transformers and switchgear, while maintaining PPE and safety standards in all weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of field experience.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License permit within 60 days of employment.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on underground distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• String underground wire and set poles/anchors.
• Assist with installing transformers, switches, and related equipment.
• Inspect PPE and perform safety procedures; adhere to company policies.
