Qualifications

• Associate's or technical degree in drafting, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years CAD experience in electric utility industry, underground HV transmission or distribution.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Team oriented with planning and schedule discipline.
• Knowledge of industry standards and design practices.

Responsibilities

• Draft and produce CAD drawings for engineering products and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafters to fix drawing discrepancies.
• Complete design tasks under supervision and perform self-checks for accuracy.
• Meet project schedules and quality requirements.
• Deliver high quality deliverables complying with standards.
• Provide innovative solutions and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Assist in project delivery including meetings, emails, and documentation.
• Provide interdepartmental support as required.
