Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Underground Transmission Designer to join our Transmission Engineering Group in Lansdale, PA.

You will draft civil/electrical drawings and contribute to design work for energy infrastructure projects, working alongside engineers and consultants. You will develop a solid understanding of underground transmission design practices, deliver high-quality drawings, meet project schedules, and collaborate across teams to advance complex

Qualifications

• Associate’s or technical degree in drafting, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ yrs CAD experience in electric utility industry.
• Experience with underground transmission or distribution design.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Draft CAD drawings and deliver engineering products per project specs.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve discrepancies in drawings.
• Support design tasks under supervision and self-check work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project schedules.
• Contribute to project meetings and interdepartmental coordination.
