Job summary

MasterTech is seeking a Heavy-Duty Mobile Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair specialized equipment on-site underground in Mullan, ID. The role requires 3+ years of heavy equipment experience and strong diagnostics capabilities.

You will operate with a team of underground mining mechanics, with relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis and full medical, dental, and vision benefits. Service trucks and company tools are provided to support on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on heavy equipment (drilling, earth-moving, construction, mining, agricultural).
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty equipment on-site underground.
• Work with underground mining crews to ensure equipment uptime.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and inspections.
