Job summary

A mining company located in Idaho is seeking a candidate for a maintenance role responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance activities on various mobile equipment in both underground and surface mining environments. Candidates should ideally have a high school diploma, and an Associates Degree or certificate in Automotive or Diesel Technology is preferred. Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and in an underground mining setting would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or Certificate in Automotive or Diesel Technology preferred.
• Previous Heavy Equipment Maintenance Experience Preferred.
• Previous experience in an underground hardrock mine setting preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance activities.
• Perform hour‑based service on mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all of the site’s mobile equipment used in mining.

Job Duties

• Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance activities
• Perform hour‑based service on mobile equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all of the site’s mobile equipment used in an underground and surface mining environment. Equipment includes (but is not limited to) drills, bolters, haul trucks, graders, dozers, tractors, light vehicles, forklifts, etc.
