Job summary

MasterTech is seeking a Field Mechanic in Elko, NV to maintain, diagnose and repair heavy equipment both in the shop and at remote job sites. You’ll work on mining, earth-moving and drilling equipment, with travel to sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy equipment experience and strong skills in hydraulics, electronics, and mechanics. We offer relocation assistance, sign-on bonuses, top-tier benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, etc.).
Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficient at troubleshooting and using diagnostic software.
Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
Must be able to travel overnight when required.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance, diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment in shop and at job sites.
Work on mining, earth moving and drilling equipment in varied environments.
Support safety and quality standards during field operations.
