Barminco Mining Services USA LLC is seeking an Underground Heavy Duty Mechanic for a project located 65 miles outside Elko, Nevada. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, you will provide mechanical support for underground and surface equipment while following safety standards.

Shift is 14 days on / 14 days off with camp-style housing (private room, meals, transport). Travel assistance up to $500 per rotation is available, plus competitive pay and benefits.

Competenze

• Mechanical certification or degree required.
• 2–5 years underground heavy‑duty mechanic experience preferred.
• MSHA certification required before day 1.
• Ability to follow instructions and read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and radio etiquette.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mining equipment and ancillary equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services as per schedule or operational needs.
• Document reports detailing work performed and checks.
• Maintain professional relations with team, client, and subcontractors.
