Barminco Mining Services is seeking an Underground Electrician to support underground and surface electrical systems on a project located about 65 miles outside Elko, Nevada. The position operates on a 14-days on / 14-days off rotation and includes camp and meals provided.

You will read diagrams, install and repair electrical wiring, and maintain HV supply and control systems. Strong safety discipline and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment are essential.

Competenze

• Underground electrical experience and knowledge of US electrical code.
• Journeyman certification or 4th-year apprenticeship considered.
• Familiarity with high voltage distribution and PLC controls.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Mansioni

• Read drawings and determine layout of electrical equipment installations.
• Install, replace or repair wiring, switchgear and lighting fixtures.
• Maintain underground HV supply, dewatering and ventilation systems.
• Test equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Document shift activities and maintain maintenance records.
• Comply with PPE requirements and safety rules on site.
