Job summary

Careermine is seeking experienced Underground Mining Mechanics for multiple U.S. locations, including Nevada.

You will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and carry out planned maintenance on hard rock mining equipment, with rotations designed for work-life balance across established crews. The role requires 5+ years underground experience, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with OEMs such as Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Normet, and Getman.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working on underground hard rock equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
• Experience with planned maintenance, inspections, and breakdowns underground.
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field.
• Experience across multiple OEMs (Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Normet, Getman).
• Strong safety mindset and awareness underground.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to integrate quickly.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults and performing breakdown repairs underground.
• Completing planned maintenance and inspections to a high standard.
• Supporting production equipment uptime in active mining environments.
• Ensuring quality workmanship through testing and final checks.
• Identifying parts, tools, and opportunities to improve reliability.
