Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation seeks a Mine Maintenance Supervisor for the Curlew mine site to lead safe and efficient fixed maintenance and electrical work. You will ensure equipment reliability, infrastructure integrity, and regulatory compliance while supporting production targets and a SafeGround culture.

You will supervise crews, plan maintenance activities, manage CMMS documentation, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

HS diploma; trade cert preferred.
5–10+ years in underground mining maintenance with supervisory experience.
Knowledge of underground fixed plant systems incl. dewatering, ventilation, mechanical infrastructure.
Experience with HV/MV electrical systems, distribution, and safety practices.
Familiarity with CMMS for planning and tracking maintenance.

Responsibilities

Supervise fixed maintenance and electrical crews safely and efficiently.
Plan and assign daily/weekly maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with MSHA, safety policies, and stop-work authority.
Oversee underground infrastructure maintenance incl. power systems and equipment.
Lead shift turnover and coordinate with operations and planning.
Review work orders in the CMMS (e.g., JDE) and ensure closure.
Mentor team members and participate in incident investigations.
