Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining Engineering.
• 10+ years of maintenance experience in a mining or industrial environment.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role with proven team-building skills.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and underground mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with computer systems including JDE and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
• High integrity and ethical behavior in professional interactions.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and communicate clearly in reporting.
• Enthusiastic, self-driven, and proactive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and legal to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mobile, fixed, and electrical maintenance activities at the mine site.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team and foster continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to optimize equipment availability.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans and schedules.
• Ensure safety while achieving availability, reliability and cost targets.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage parts inventory and cost-efficient procurement practices.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures.
