Job summary

Standard Utility Construction is seeking a UG Service Skilled Laborer A to assist the crew with underground service installation and repair tasks in Aubrey, TX. The role requires 1-2 years of underground electric distribution experience and the ability to work on energized lines up to 600 volts.

Benefits include a 5-day work week, 40-50 hours, on-call as needed, and weekend/holiday shifts may occur. Valid Texas driver license required; CDL/DOT may be preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year minimum underground electric distribution service work experience required.
• Must be qualified to work on energized and de-energized lines and equipment up to 600 volts.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must follow all safe work practices.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with underground service installation and repair tasks.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Install conduits and cables at multiple locations.
• Work on lines up to 600 volts unsupervised when required.
• Travel may be required; may work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Support safe and efficient project execution.
