Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman to join our team working on underground electrical distribution systems. You will assist with construction, maintenance, and repair, reporting to the Foreman, and supporting safety-first operations in varying weather conditions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days, willingness to travel, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness for overtime and out-of-state assignments.

Formación

• Valid driver's license and able to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems.
• Help install and repair underground facilities, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain excavation equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, excavators, and pulling equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and storms.
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE and handling insulated equipment.
