Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC, is looking for a Foreman in Athens, GA to lead a crew in constructing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de‑energized lines and may travel to various job sites as needed to meet client demands.

The role requires a CDL, five years of underground line experience, and willingness to travel; you will coach junior staff, conduct safety briefings, and ensure timely, high‑quality project completion while adhering to PPE

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of underground line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized underground distribution systems.
• Oversee project quality and ensure completion by deadlines.
• Install and repair underground facilities and conductors; troubleshoot faults.
• Operate excavation equipment and use PPE for live-line work.
• Follow safety protocols and use insulated PPE and testing equipment.
