Job summary

Utilities One is seeking an Underground Operations Supervisor in Dallas, OR to oversee and support our underground drilling crews with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires extensive travel and a company vehicle will be provided.

You will lead on-site training, enforce safety standards, review bore logs, and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on track. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in underground drilling, leadership skills, and a valid

Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground drilling operations.
• Strong HDD, potholing, utility locates, safety protocols.
• Experience training or mentoring UG crews.
• Ability to read construction prints and jobsite plans.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states.
• OSHA 10/30, NCCER certs a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect underground drilling operations for safety and quality.
• Lead on-site training and onboarding for crews.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct jobsite audits.
• Review bore logs, restoration, and fiber/copper paths.
• Coordinate with operations and project management to resolve delays.
• Maintain inspection records and report to leads.
• Collaborate with regional directors and project managers.
